Brazosport College (“BC” or “the College”) was included in the allocation. To access these funds, the College submitted a signed CARES ACT: Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) Certification and Agreement viaGrants.gov.

This Certification and Agreement, signed by Brazosport College on April 13, 2020, requires the College to provide fifty percent (50%) of its formula grant funds for the sole and exclusive purpose to provide emergency financial aid grants to students, for expenses such as:

  • Food
  • Housing
  • Course materials
  • Technology
  • Health care
  • Child-care expenses
