An Associate of Arts degree at Brazosport College requires 60 credit hours, the following pathway includes 60 credit hours, applicable to the Bachelor’s degree in Music at UT San Antonio.
Music courses should be taken in the order listed and students should begin taking these courses in their first semester of study. Students should work closely with Music faculty in formulating their educational plan.

Foundations

Foundations courses provide the footing for the remainder of the Associates Degree and beyond. They provide the knowledge and skills upon which other courses will build. Whether attending full or part time, plan to complete most if not all of Foundations prior to taking courses under Knowledge Building or Preparing for Completion. Students planning to major in music should enroll in MUSI 1311 and MUSI 1116 in their first fall semester of study.
